I recently received the shocking news that my good friend and sometime collaborator, Adrian Kermode, passed away. He worked on the famous Petra Etc. and his self-published Doctor Sorrow. He was a man filled with great ideas and a fabulous sense of humour.
We only got to publish one of our mutual works together- a short story of Doctor Lovemonkey (based on an old nickname of mine- don't ask) which saw publication in an issue of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
By way of tribute, here are the six pages.
I hope that Adrian is looking down on us somewhere with a glass of whiskey in hand. He was a genuinely wonderful person and he will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to those he has left behind.
